Our client was urgently seeking to recruit two Senior Regional Directors to drive the strategy across the EU and International regions for their new Paediatric Vaccine/Delivery system, which would be the most expensive product in the market. Therefore we were looking for a much more rounded skillset than simply a senior Vaccines Marketing individual.
Also due to restructures and other business issues the need for the hire was described to us as “yesterday”… this was urgent.
Given the skillsets provided and the tight timelines required we suggested a retained “Campaign Management” as this blends both contingency and search and allows for a pro-active search of the market in quick time frames.
Within 6 weeks our client interviewed 6 candidates, second interviewed 4 and hired 2 Regional Commercial Directors for their new vaccine unit. With the strategic plan aligned and running to plan, this has literally been a real saving of several million.
