Job Overview
This is a very exciting opportunity for an ambitious, driven and independent Scientist to join a developing biotech at a pivotal team of technological delivery, discovery and implementation at the ground floor.

The purpose of this role is to form the foundation of a team responsible for the generation of data that advances the biologic properties and functional activity of my clients innate immune cell engaging multiprotein complexes.
Responsibilities:
- Lead, design and execute research studies that explore immune-modulatory properties of multiprotein complexes, particularly their interactions with target cells and broader immune system components
- Develop experimental models, conduct functional assessments, and explore gene-engineering approaches to advance our therapeutic platforms
- Collaborate with internal computational biology and protein science teams as part of multidisciplinary research initiatives
- Lead projects from concept to completion while maintaining high scientific standards
- Coordinate external research partnerships with CROs, ensuring alignment with company standards and timely delivery of results
- Contribute to intellectual property development through scientific discovery and documentation
- Perform detailed data analysis and prepare comprehensive documentation, including electronic lab notebooks, reports, and presentations
- Participate in laboratory organization, protocol development, and maintenance of research infrastructure
Candidate Requirements:
- PhD in life sciences or equivalent industry experience
- Scientific expertise in antibody or cell-based immune therapy
- Background in immunology, particularly with unconventional and innate lymphocytes (NK cells, γδ T cells)
- Hands-on experience with primary cell isolation/culture, functional assays, multiparameter flow cytometry, gene engineering, and qPCR
- Excellent communication skills across written, verbal, and interpersonal domains
- Flexible problem-solver with ability to propose practical solutions
- Self-starter who can work independently, prioritize effectively, and manage multiple projects
- Commitment to research excellence with meticulous attention to detail and data integrity
- Strong team player who engages constructively with colleagues at all levels
- Proficiency with scientific software and data analysis tools
- Willingness to work flexible hours to accommodate assay requirements and team schedules

- This is a lab based role
- There are multiple career growth and expansion opportunities based on successful completion of the initial work
- This is a 12 month contract role with preferred room for expansion based on successful contribution from the candidate.
- Salary and bonus will be applicable for this role with future potential discussion for future package options, equity and other benefits based upon extension of the contract after 12 months.
