Associate Director – Rare Disease Business Unit:

SUMMARY OF OPPORTUNITY:

We are currently in partnership with the UK’s leading specialist global pharma market research agencies. With outstanding senior management winning multiple BHBIA & EphMRA awards. We have the opportunity for an ambitious and hungry RM/AD , who is looking to specialize and want to become an expert in a specific Therapeutic Area – in this instance, RARE DISEASE.

You have the opportunity to work closely with experts in this particular Therapy area, learning about all the indications within it. In this organization, your progression is down to how much you want it. With over 20 years’ experience in the industry, they are fast becoming known as the agency in the market.  

WHAT YOUR NEXT ROLE ENTAILS:

·         Promoting and creating a professional research environment that encourages repeat business focusing on accounts that will be allocated

·         Ensuring successful implementation of research methodologies

·         Delivering high quality research projects

·         Effectively managing a team of researchers on projects

·         Promoting and raising the profile of the Rare Disease Research Group both within the company and amongst clients

·         Contributing to the strategic and tactical direction of the Company

·         Delivering profitable projects

 YOUR EXPERIENCE:

·         A minimum of 5  years’ experience working in a market research agency with a focus on pharmaceuticals

·         Experience in working on at least 2 non-oncological rare diseases

·         Client-side experience an advantage

·         An expert in ad-hoc qualitative and quantitative market research techniques (ideally 50/50 but more weighting on qualitative)

·         Experience in multiple therapeutic areas, oncology experience a plus

·         Team management and development experience

·         Ability to deliver high quality standards to clients

·         Strong knowledge of market research methodologies

·         A good understanding of the pharmaceutical and healthcare industries
