Tier 1 Life Science Consulting Firm is looking for a VP / Principle of Commercial Strategy development with experience harnessing objective external perspectives with in-depth market knowledge and rigorous analytical capabilities. Individual must have experience in the Healthcare Industry! Ideal candidate should have experience with the following below. 10-15 years in life science consulting (i.e. biotech / pharma) only!

Experience with account ownership and driving sales within an account or new accounts. 

Sales Targets:

Candidate must have done over one million dollars of new business each year.  Either within current accounts or new accounts.

Maintain current accounts which can range between 1-5 million per year

Experience managing and mentoring a team / large projects

Technical Skills:

·         Experience managing complex projects which are strategic in nature

·         Strong people management skills

·         Demonstrates a commercial mindset with the ability to think strategically about client problems

·         Excellent interpersonal skills, able to build effective relationships both internally and externally at all levels

·         Possesses an in-depth understanding of the life sciences / pharmaceutical industry, to include recent trends, developments and current challenges

·         Ability to identify and develop new business opportunities within accounts

·         Possesses an ‘intrapreneurial’ mindset

·         Excellent communication skills, to include writing and presentation skills

·         Highly proficient in MS Office (to include Excel and PowerPoint)

Behavioral Skills:

·         Track record of winning and developing large client accounts

·         Demonstrates credibility and is networked within the industry

·         Leads complex projects which are strategic in nature

·         Ability to develop and implement growth strategies

·         Passion for driving thought leadership in the market

·         Excellent people management skills

·         Possesses an ‘intrapreneurial’ and entrepreneurial mindset
