This exciting post has been created due to recent and exciting expansions and my client requires an experienced Senior Health Economics professional to work with their well established and successful team in their bright and modern office.
This respected global consultancy works closely with healthcare professionals, academic institutes and healthcare organisations to enable them to achieve their goal of producing cancer guidelines to improve healthcare decision making.
As the Senior Health Economist you will play a vital role and have the opportunity to make a real difference to the service offerings of this respected organisation.
You will project manage a dynamic team of Health Economists and have overall responsibility for the health economics research activities and strategic development.
- Provide expertise on health economic aspects of clinical guideline development
- Line manage and performance manage Health Economists
- Evaluate health economics research evidence and deliver findings to development groups
- Conduct decision analytical modeling Present cost effectiveness evidence
- Produce written reports for the guidelines
A Degree in Health Economics, Health Services, Public Health or Epidemiology, you should have a minimum of 2 years experience of working in a Health Economist role within academia or industry and experience of cost effective analysis, analytical modelling, interpreting healthcare research evidence, appraising health literature and knowledge of evidence based healthcare principles would be beneficial. You will also have excellent written/verbal communication and presentation skills together with the ability to motivate, influence, build relationships, think strategically, perform under pressure and prioritise.
