Barrington James is a fast growing and developing global pharmaceutical recruitment consultancy. As part of our global expansion we are currently hiring team sales managers to head up our extremely successful sale teams at our global HQ in Horley.


The main roles of a team sales managers are as follows;

·         Network with clients and candidates from day one.

·         Manage a team of 4-5 consultants.

·         Hit and exceed both individual and team KPI’s

·         Source and headhunt suitable candidates for roles.

·         Build a strong network of candidates and clients.

·         Be constantly looking for ways to develop new business on every call.

·         Provide support and training as well as taking responsibility for team members working under you.

·         Utilise job boards and other internet based search tools.

·         Set an example to other consultants and lead from the front.

The ideal candidate for this role will;

  • Possess a minimum of three to four years of recruitment experience
  • A proven history of strong billings and exceeding targets.
  • Have an exemplary phone manner and communication skills.
  • Driven by recognition and success with a naturally competitive attitude.

·         Be able to follow instruction as well as mentor and lead your own team.

·         Have a strong understanding of soft sales skills as well as the ability to overcome objection.

·         Second languages are advantageous but not essential.

·         Tenacity and persistence are a must.
