This Japanese pharmaceutical client was seeking a Senior Project Manager for their Transmed department in a role that was of paramount importance. They needed a blend of experience working in early phase development, with translational medicine experience and able to fit the company culture.
We recommended working on an “Exclusive” basis with a “Contingency” approach. This gave us the confidence to dedicate more time to the job, to take a fresh role to market that was unheard of, and was sure to gain interest. It also allowed us to attend site and take a full, detailed brief and meet some of the team.
We tracked down three candidates with this niche skill set and the correct personality and an offer was made. The client now has a successful, suitable and enthusiastic candidate who appreciated the selective approach that we took. The candidate would still have been working for their previous employer had the client not allowed us to take adequate time finding their suitable candidate and this could have been detrimental to the team.
