Job Title: Principal, Strategy Consulting (Life Sciences)

The Role You will be joining a specialized team within a leading life sciences consulting firm. As a Principal, you will be a senior leader responsible for three main areas: directing client projects, driving business development (sales), and managing team operations. You will act as a subject matter expert in patient-centered research and Clinical Outcomes Assessments (COAs).

Key Responsibilities

• Project Leadership: Develop and deliver strategic solutions for complex pharmaceutical client issues, overseeing the teams executing these projects.

• Business Development: Lead sales efforts, pitch proposals, uncover new opportunities, and expand existing client accounts.

• Thought Leadership: Enhance the firm's brand presence through speaking engagements, publications, and client meetings.

• Team Building: Mentor junior staff, participate in performance reviews, and help recruit new talent.

What You Need to Apply (Qualifications)

• Experience: 10+ years in pharmaceutical professional services/consulting, with a clear track record of career progression.

• Specialized Knowledge: 7+ years managing global strategic projects specifically focused on patient-centered outcomes research.

• Technical Skills: Deep expertise in designing, developing, and customizing Clinical Outcomes Assessments (COAs) and navigating relevant regulatory guidelines.

• Sales & Delivery: Proven ability to both "sell" new consulting work and successfully "deliver" it to clients.

• Education: Bachelor’s degree is required; an advanced degree (Master’s or PhD) is highly preferred.

• Logistics: Must be willing and able to travel.
