Quantum Project Manger

Report to: Country Manager, South Korea
Location: Seoul, South Korea
I am partnered with a company who provide the full stack platform for end to end development of quantum algorithms. Our technology streamlines the process of translating high-level concepts and functional requirements into efficient, executable programs.
Our core development and compilation technology helps bridge the gap between algorithm design and practical implementation, enabling researchers and engineers to develop sophisticated applications more quickly and efficiently.
You will take ownership of complex technology projects, ensuring that key deliverables are completed on time, within scope, within budget, and to the required quality standards. Working at the intersection of advanced technology, software development, and customer delivery, you will oversee projects from initial planning through implementation and deployment.
You will act as a central point of ownership for project execution, coordinating communication across internal and external stakeholders, managing risks and dependencies, and ensuring successful delivery against agreed objectives.

What you'll do
- Lead the planning, execution, and continuous improvement of multiple technology projects.
- Define project goals, deliverables, milestones, timelines, and success criteria.
- Manage projects across their full lifecycle, including scope, resources, dependencies, risks, and delivery.
- Maintain strong relationships with customers, partners, and internal stakeholders through regular communication and progress updates.
- Coordinate demonstrations, reviews, and presentations of project outcomes to relevant stakeholders.
- Track project performance against agreed KPIs, timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
- Identify opportunities to improve project delivery processes and adopt emerging approaches in technology, software development, and project management.
- Represent the organisation in relevant professional, technical, and industry settings where appropriate.
- Native-level Korean and professional fluency in English, with the ability to communicate effectively with both local customers and global teams.
- Bachelor’s (or advanced) degree in Computer Science, Physics, Engineering, or similar.
- 3+ years of project/program management experience in high-tech or deep-tech environments.
- Solid understanding of quantum computing, or high motivation and capability to learn quantum computing algorithms.
- Experience working with research or software teams, public/private partnerships.
Advantageous
- MSc or PhD in Quantum Computing or related disciplines.
- Experience with implementing principle for software development projects (Lean Six Sigma etc..)
