In this role as a Safety Physician, you will provide medical and clinical oversight across the drug lifecycle, from early clinical development through to post marketing, leading medical review of adverse events, causality assessment and benefit-risk evaluation. This role is vital to people who want to bring strong clinical judgement to patient safety and people with an eager attitude to protecting patients throughout a product's life.

Key responsibilities

• Provide medical oversight of drug safety activities across the product lifecycle.
• Lead medical review, causality assessment and signal evaluation for individual and aggregate safety data.
• Support preparation and review of safety reports and regulatory documents.
• Contribute medical expertise to benefit-risk decisions and risk management plans.
• Work with global cross-functional teams to maintain patient safety standards.

Experience you should bring

• Strong clinical and pharmacovigilance experience within the pharmaceutical industry.
• Knowledge of GxP, regulatory requirements, and clinical trial processes.
• Experience with medical review, safety signal evaluation, and benefit-risk assessments.
• Ability to interpret complex clinical and safety data and communicate findings clearly.
• A medical degree (MD or equivalent) required, with experience working in global teams.
