Leveraging our core assets of large-scale healthcare data, Real-World Data (RWD), advanced analytics, and technology, we drive evidence generation through Health Economics, Health Technology Assessment (HTA), Market Access strategies, patient outcomes research, and Real-World Evidence (RWE) studies.

We are currently seeking a Senior Consultant or Manager to lead consulting and research projects specifically related to Cost-Effectiveness Analysis, Budget Impact Analysis, HTA, and Market Access strategies.

In this role, you will support pharmaceutical and medical device companies in appropriately evaluating and communicating the value of their products, helping them generate the evidence needed to drive decision-making for pricing, reimbursement strategies, and market access.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and drive projects related to Cost-Effectiveness Analysis, Budget Impact Analysis, and HTA.

  • Formulate value assessment strategies leveraging RWD and RWE, and lead evidence generation projects.

  • Provide end-to-end project management, from project proposals and study design to execution management and final reporting.

  • Lead the drafting and review of specialized documents, including Study Protocols, Model Plans, and HEOR reports.

  • Collaborate with experts in statistics, epidemiology, data science, and medical fields to deliver high-quality analysis and research outcomes.

  • Provide consulting and strategic recommendations to clients regarding pharmaceutical value assessment, HTA compliance, and Market Access strategies.

  • Contribute to new business creation and overall business development by building strong relationships with clients.

  • Mentor and coach junior team members, providing strong leadership to project teams.

Qualifications

  • Knowledge of HTA, Health Economics, and Market Access.

  • Ability to prioritize and manage tasks of varying scale and complexity.

  • Experience leading project teams composed of highly specialized experts.

  • Advanced writing, communication, and client influencing skills (e.g., a proven track record in high-level presentations, meeting facilitation, workshop promotion, and business/project report creation), in Japanese and English

  • Demonstrated analytical, explanatory, and problem-solving skills.

  • Knowledge of major issues and the latest trends within the life sciences industry, particularly in pharmaceuticals.

  • Extensive experience in healthcare consulting, the life sciences industry, or relevant academic experience and achievements.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Knowledge of consulting methodologies, tools, and techniques.

  • Proficiency in programming languages: R, SAS.
