Senior Product Manager – Cryogenic Test

I am partnered with a global deep tech company specialising in cryogenic systems. Cryogenic testing is emerging as a critical capability for the world's most advanced quantum computing programs.

As our customers move toward commercial-scale fabrication, they need fast, high-throughput cryogenic characterization of quantum devices, wafers, and cryo-electronics. Slow, manual testing is becoming their bottleneck, while we have developed a sophisticated refrigeration’s and measurement infrastructure, partnering with the leading players, and a strategic commitment to define our long-term role in cryogenic test.

We are looking for a senior product manager to own the strategy, roadmap and commercial direction of its cryogenic test portfolio. This is a build-stage product leadership role. The successful candidate will shape the company's next generation of cryogenic testing solutions for the millikelvin regime, with a particular focus on automated testing of packaged devices.

Responsibilities
-You will build deep customer and market insight across leading quantum, semiconductor and cryo-electronics companies.
-Develop the cryogenic test strategy, identifying where the company should compete and where future opportunities lie.
-Own product roadmaps, product definitions, business cases, pricing and lifecycle decisions.
-Translate customer problems into new product concepts and commercially viable solutions.
-Lead existing cryogenic test products and drive their evolution.
-Manage strategic technology and integration partnerships.
-Work cross-functionally with R&D, engineering, operations, sales, marketing and finance to drive programmes without direct authority.
-Support strategic customer engagements, pilots and technical discussions.
-Monitor the competitive landscape across semiconductor test, probing, metrology and cryogenic technologies.

Requirements
-Extensive experience across semiconductor manufacturing and testing. Ideally within the areas of wafer testing, final test, probing, validation or advance instrumentation.
-Proven product management experience in complex hardware or deep-tech, taking products from customer discovery through definition, development and launch.
-Strong customer-facing and commercial skills, including pricing, margins and business cases.
-Experience working with technically sophisticated customers and external technology partners.
-Willingness to travel extensively, particularly to the US.

Nice to have:
-Cryogenics or quantum experience is advantageous but not essential; strong semiconductor test/product expertise is more important.
