The Opportunity

We are looking for a motivated and results-oriented Business Development professional to drive expansion within the Japanese market and support the broader Asia-Pacific strategy. In this role, you will be instrumental in building new partnerships and generating revenue in the advanced pharmaceutical sectors of Japan.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities in Japan for Pharmaceutical Intermediates, API, and contract manufacturing services.

  • Cultivate and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key players in the region, including pharmaceutical manufacturers and distributors.

  • Perform in-depth market analysis to uncover new trends, opportunities, and competitive insights.

  • Work closely with internal technical and operations teams to ensure client needs are met effectively.

  • Represent the company at industry conferences, trade shows, and key client meetings.

Qualifications & Skills

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Pharmaceutical Sciences, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.

  • 3–5 years of proven experience in business development or sales, specifically within the Pharmaceutical Intermediates, API, or CMO/CDMO sectors.

  • An established professional network and deep understanding of the pharmaceutical market in Japan.

  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation abilities.

  • Full professional proficiency in both English and Japanese is required.
