Chemical Operator / Plant Operator | Hesse, Germany

We are working with an established contract services provider to the chemical and pharmaceutical industries to recruit several Chemical Operators for their site, available immediately.

The Role

You will be responsible for operating plant equipment and experimental apparatus for the production of chemical intermediates and final products, working to manufacturing instructions across synthesis, drying, mixing, grinding, extrusion, granulation, and packaging processes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operate plant equipment and carry out reaction and process techniques in line with instructions
  • Assemble, disassemble, and clean experimental equipment
  • Conduct equipment inspections, verify setup, and report deviations accurately
  • Document manufacturing processes in batch records and logbooks
  • Maintain compliance with hygiene, safety, and DIN ISO standards

Requirements

  • Completed training as a Chemical Operator (Chemikant) with at least 3 years' experience, or a comparable chemical qualification with equivalent experience
  • Experience handling sensitive products is an advantage
  • Willingness to work continuous shift rotations
  • Reliable, detail-oriented, and flexible
  • Team player with a strong sense of responsibility
