Clinical Development Physician (Oncology)

Location: EU
Type: Full‑time

Barrington James has partnered with a global biopharmaceutical organisation. You’re driven by science, grounded in clinical excellence, and motivated by the belief that better treatments can change the trajectory of cancer care. This role is designed for someone who wants to bring that mindset into a global clinical development environment, guide studies and help shape the future of oncology therapeutics.

The Role
In this position, you become a key medical voice within a cross‑functional development team. You’ll help define the clinical direction of oncology programs, contribute to study design, and ensure that every decision is anchored in scientific rigor and patient need. You’ll oversee the medical aspects of clinical trials, interpret emerging data, and support the advancement of programs from early exploration through late‑stage development.
Your work will span protocol development, safety oversight, data interpretation, and collaboration with regulatory, operations, biometrics, and translational research colleagues. You’ll also engage with investigators, contribute to scientific publications, and help communicate the medical vision behind each program. It’s a role for someone who wants to lead with insight, curiosity, and purpose.

What You Bring

• Strong clinical experience in oncology or haematology
• Prior involvement in clinical research or drug development
• A solid understanding of GCP, ICH guidelines, and regulatory expectations
• The ability to interpret complex clinical data and communicate clearly
• Confidence working in multidisciplinary, international teams.
If you’re ready to bring your clinical expertise into a setting where it can influence global oncology development, we’d be glad to hear from you. Please share your CV and a short statement about what motivates you in this field.
