The Role
A premier US-based medical technology manufacturer is seeking a Clinical Education Manager to lead clinical strategy and application support for our GI Procedural and Reprocessing portfolio in Japan. You will serve as the vital link between advanced technology and clinical practice, ensuring healthcare professionals can safely and effectively utilize our life-saving solutions.
Key Responsibilities

Strategy & Development: Create and execute annual clinical education plans and multi-format curricula (manuals, videos, e-learning) tailored to the Japanese market and PMDA regulations.

Training Delivery: Lead on-site workshops, wet labs, and online sessions for physicians, nurses, and distributors. Provide in-service support for product trials and new adoptions.

KOL Management: Cultivate relationships with Key Opinion Leaders in endoscopy and infection control; partner with medical societies to co-host academic events.

Standard Setting: Represent the company on local standards committees to influence industry guidelines and best practices.

Commercial Support: Act as a technical expert for sales and marketing during product launches and key account developments.
Qualifications

Background: Bachelor’s degree in a medical or life-science field.

Experience: Significant experience in the healthcare market, specifically within GI Endoscopy or instrument reprocessing.

Business Savvy: Proven track record in clinical management, strategic portfolio planning, and budgeting within a multinational firm.

Soft Skills: Exceptional project management, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.

Language: Business-level English and native-level Japanese are required.
