We are seeking an experienced CMC Lead with strong technical expertise in biologics to join an innovative and fast-growing organization. This is a critical, client-facing role requiring both deep scientific knowledge and the ability to engage with external stakeholders. The successful candidate will play a key role in shaping CMC strategy, supporting business development activities, and ensuring high-quality delivery across projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee CMC strategy and execution for biologics programs.
• Provide technical expertise across:
  • Manufacturing processes
  • Cell line development
  • Upstream processing
  • Conjugation
• Participate in client meetings, acting as a subject matter expert and trusted advisor.
• Review and refine project scopes of work, ensuring feasibility, quality, and alignment with client needs.
• Troubleshoot technical challenges across development and manufacturing activities.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with internal scientific and operational teams.
• Support business development efforts by providing technical input and strategic feedback during client discussions.

Requirements

• PhD in a relevant life sciences discipline.
• Extensive experience in Biologics CMC, with strong technical depth.
• Hands-on expertise in manufacturing, cell line development, upstream processing, and conjugation.
• Fluency in Mandarin (required) – must be able to engage with Mandarin-speaking clients.
• Proven experience in client-facing roles or stakeholder engagement.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• ADC experience is a bonus but not required.
