Freelance Clinical Evaluation Manager | Clinical Evaluation Consultant | Medical Devices

Are you an experienced Clinical Evaluation professional looking for a flexible freelance opportunity? We are seeking a Clinical Evaluation Manager to lead the preparation of Clinical Evaluation Reports (CERs) for innovative medical devices. This role offers the opportunity to work with cutting-edge products, collaborate with expert teams, and make a real impact on patient outcomes.  

In this role, you'll manage end-to-end clinical evaluation activities, ensuring products meet regulatory requirements while supporting safety, performance, and compliance throughout the product lifecycle. You'll work independently while collaborating with cross-functional teams in a flexible, project-based environment. 

What We're Looking For 

• We are looking for 3-5 years of experience with regulatory/CER writing for medical devices or in vitro Diagnostics  

• Advanced degree (e.g., MSc, PhD, MD, PharmD, etc) in medicine, life sciences, pharmacology, biomedical engineering, biostatistics/ epidemiology or other related fields  

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills 

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English 

• Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines 

• Capability to make risk-based decisions 

Bonus skills: 

• Technical understanding and love for innovative apps and/or software development 

• Medical background and/or knowledge of the diabetes industry or other similar health industries 

• Confident speaking in front of others
