Lab Technician

Barrington James are working with a client that is seeking a detail-oriented Lab Technician to join their Quality Control team. This role is ideal for candidates with hands-on laboratory experience who are eager to contribute to a GMP-compliant environment, supporting accurate and efficient testing operations.

What you’ll do:

• Maintain stock levels of chemicals and laboratory consumables
• Clean and prepare laboratory glassware in line with safety standards
• Perform basic equipment checks, calibration support, and lab setup
• Register, handle, and store samples and pharmaceutical products
• Prepare and monitor microbial culture media
• Accurately document laboratory activities and results

What we’re looking for:

• O-Level or A-Level qualifications (or equivalent in a science-related field)
• 1–3 years of laboratory experience (GMP environment preferred)
• Familiarity with basic lab techniques and equipment
• Good IT skills and experience with laboratory systems
• Strong attention to detail and communication skills in English
• Valid Malta work permit
