The Role
An opportunity is available for an experienced Market Access Director to lead global strategy for pricing, reimbursement, and evidence generation for an established oncology therapy and future pipeline products. This senior leadership role sits within the Commercial organisation and works closely with global teams across Medical Affairs, Clinical Development, Regulatory, and regional commercial teams.
The successful candidate will be responsible for shaping and delivering global Market Access, Health Technology Assessment (HTA), Real World Evidence (RWE), and Health Economics & Outcomes Research (HEOR) strategies. The role covers more than 40 international markets and requires close collaboration with regional partners and affiliates.
This position will play a key role in ensuring that strong clinical, economic, and real-world evidence supports payer value propositions and enables successful pricing and reimbursement outcomes across global markets.
Key Responsibilities

Lead the development of global RWE and HEOR strategies to support pricing, reimbursement, and HTA submissions.

Design and implement global pricing and market access strategies, including scenario planning and value-based pricing approaches.

Support global product launch and lifecycle management through strong evidence generation and access planning.

Work cross-functionally with Clinical Development, Medical Affairs, Commercial, Regulatory, and other internal teams to align evidence and access strategies.

Provide strategic guidance to senior leadership on market access risks, payer expectations, and reimbursement opportunities.

Represent the organisation in interactions with payers, HTA bodies, and policy stakeholders.

Support development of future indications by providing early strategic input into clinical development and target product profiles.

Conduct market and payer landscape assessments to identify risks and opportunities in global reimbursement environments.

Oversee budgets and external partners involved in market access, RWE, and HEOR activities.
Experience Required

10+ years of experience in Market Access, HEOR, RWE, or pricing within the pharmaceutical or biotechnology industry.

Proven experience leading global market access strategies for oncology products, including launch and lifecycle management.

Strong expertise in health economics, outcomes research, and real-world evidence generation.

Experience developing and delivering Integrated Evidence Plans in collaboration with commercial, medical, and regulatory teams.

Strong understanding of global payer and HTA environments, including major markets such as the US and Europe.

Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional initiatives and influence senior stakeholders.

Advanced degree in Health Economics or a related field such as public health, epidemiology, or health policy.
