We are seeking an experienced Market Access Manager to lead the end-to-end management of Health Technology Assessment (HTA) submissions, pricing negotiations, and tender activities within Belgium. This role plays a key part in ensuring alignment between local and global stakeholders to maximise market access opportunities for innovative pharmaceutical products.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with Health Economics & Outcomes Research (HEOR) and Global Market Access teams to prepare, develop, and submit high-quality dossiers to HTA authorities.
- Develop and implement market access and pricing strategies in partnership with commercial and cross-functional teams.
- Communicate payer requirements and market insights to local and global stakeholders to support evidence generation and value dossier development.
- Support the development and execution of pricing and reimbursement strategies, including leading final pricing negotiations where appropriate.
- Contribute to global pricing discussions and support local market access initiatives with innovative and commercially effective solutions.
- Develop and execute tender strategies and manage tender submissions within the Belgian market.
- Monitor and report progress against market access objectives through the use of KPIs, dashboards, and performance metrics.
Candidate Profile
The successful candidate will:
- Have significant experience in a Market Access position within the pharmaceutical industry.
- Possess strong knowledge of the Belgian healthcare and reimbursement environment, including a proven track record of successful HTA submissions.
- Demonstrate expertise in developing market access strategies and delivering compelling value propositions to key stakeholders.
- Have experience driving pricing and reimbursement outcomes that support commercial objectives.
- Be proficient in developing and managing KPIs, reporting frameworks, and performance dashboards.
Requirements
To be considered for this opportunity, applicants should have experience working within a multidisciplinary, matrixed, and international pharmaceutical environment, with specific exposure to the Belgian market.
Additional requirements include:
- A postgraduate qualification such as an MBA, MSc, or equivalent is highly desirable.
- Experience within Oncology and/or Haematology is preferred.
- Strong scientific understanding of pharmaceutical research, development, and commercialisation processes is advantageous.
