Marketing Manager – Japan

Their FDA-approved ablation systems and left atrial appendage (LAA) management devices are trusted by electrophysiologists and cardiothoracic surgeons worldwide.
 

They are looking for a strategic, dynamic Marketing Manager to lead their downstream marketing efforts, product launches, and key opinion leader (KOL) engagement strategies in Japan. Key Responsibilities
  • Strategic Downstream Marketing: Develop, execute, and track comprehensive country-specific marketing plans. Drive brand awareness and therapy adoption from initial interest to repeat clinical use.
  • Product Launches: Establish and execute best-in-class product launch plans for upcoming approvals in Japan, collaborating closely with regional leadership and global teams.
  • Event & Campaign Management: Lead the planning and execution of key medical congresses and marketing campaigns, ensuring a strong call-to-action and measurable ROI.
  • KOL Engagement: Cultivate and manage a multi-tier Key Opinion Leader (KOL) strategy, building strong relationships with medical professionals and stakeholders.
  • Product Management (LAAM): Serve as the regional subject matter expert for the Left Atrial Appendage Management segment, localizing global content for the Japanese market and supporting broader APAC initiatives.
  • Demand Planning: Partner with the Marketing Director and global supply chain teams to optimize forecasting and demand planning.

What They Are Looking For
  • Experience: 5+ years of successful commercial or marketing experience within the medical device or med-tech industry.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field (MBA is a plus).
  • Skills: Proven track record of developing and executing successful marketing strategies, managing multiple deadlines, and working cross-functionally.
  • Languages: Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both Japanese and English.
  • Travel: Willingness to travel approximately 50% for congresses, events, and field visits.
