Role Overview

The Marketing Manager is responsible for developing and executing regional marketing strategies across the Asia-Pacific and Japan regions. The role primarily supports direct business operations in Japan, with increasing responsibility for distributor and regional marketing activities throughout APAC. This position works closely with cross-functional teams to drive effective product positioning, education, and customer engagement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

Product Management

The role ensures that clinical and product messaging is clear, accurate, and consistently applied across all marketing materials, medical education programs, and customer-facing activities. Responsibilities include maintaining up-to-date clinical content, ensuring alignment across internal and external stakeholders, and collaborating with key clinical experts to refine both current and future messaging strategies. The position requires close collaboration with clinical teams to develop a strong understanding of medical and scientific concepts and to position products in alignment with customer needs and values. The Marketing Manager also develops training and educational materials for internal teams and healthcare professionals and partners with sales teams to create effective marketing tools and commercial support materials.

Utilization and Adoption Programs

This role monitors and evaluates the effectiveness of utilization and adoption programs, identifies best practices, and develops strategies to increase product usage within customer accounts. Strong cross-functional collaboration is required, working closely with sales, clinical, marketing, learning and development, legal, and regulatory teams within a matrix organization. The role is also responsible for developing and maintaining clinical-focused marketing materials such as brochures, case studies, white papers, and presentations, while ensuring compliance with all applicable quality and regulatory requirements.

Education and Customer Engagement Events

The Marketing Manager supports peer-to-peer education programs, medical education initiatives, and industry events focused on clinician education and procedural awareness. The role collaborates with clinical experts and internal stakeholders to design, plan, and execute educational programs across the region. Responsibilities include managing the events calendar, responding to commercial needs, and overseeing logistics and execution for medical education programs and trade shows.
