You will work alongside global leaders to introduce new paradigms in respiratory care and positively influence medical standards in Japan.
Key Responsibilities:

Strategy & Planning: Develop and execute the integrated Japan Medical Affairs strategy aligned with the global plan and local business objectives to support the successful launch and lifecycle of our respiratory portfolio.

Scientific Leadership: Serve as the primary medical scientific expert for internal teams and external stakeholders in Japan.

KOL Management & Engagement: Identify, develop, and manage relationships with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs), academic institutions, and medical societies. Drive scientific exchange and collaborative initiatives.

Execution: Oversee the implementation of medical activities, including advisory boards, medical education, scientific publications, and evidence generation plans (e.g., local non-registrational studies).

What We Are Looking For:

Medical or advanced scientific degree (MD, PhD, or PharmD) is highly preferred.

Proven experience (8+ years) in Medical Affairs within the Japanese pharmaceutical industry.

Deep understanding of the Japan healthcare system and respiratory therapeutic area (open to other TA's, respiratory prefered but not compulsory.

Demonstrated success in KOL engagement, medical strategy, and cross-functional leadership.

Experience in mentoring or leading a team is essential.

Business-level proficiency in both Japanese and English.
