You will work alongside global leaders to introduce new paradigms in respiratory care and positively influence medical standards in Japan.

Key Responsibilities:

• Strategy & Planning: Develop and execute the integrated Japan Medical Affairs strategy aligned with the global plan and local business objectives to support the successful launch and lifecycle of our respiratory portfolio.

• Scientific Leadership: Serve as the primary medical scientific expert for internal teams and external stakeholders in Japan.

• KOL Management & Engagement: Identify, develop, and manage relationships with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs), academic institutions, and medical societies. Drive scientific exchange and collaborative initiatives.

• Execution: Oversee the implementation of medical activities, including advisory boards, medical education, scientific publications, and evidence generation plans (e.g., local non-registrational studies).

What We Are Looking For:

• Medical or advanced scientific degree (MD, PhD, or PharmD) is highly preferred.

• Proven experience (8+ years) in Medical Affairs within the Japanese pharmaceutical industry.

• Deep understanding of the Japan healthcare system and respiratory therapeutic area (open to other TA's, respiratory prefered but not compulsory.

• Demonstrated success in KOL engagement, medical strategy, and cross-functional leadership.

• Experience in mentoring or leading a team is essential.

• Business-level proficiency in both Japanese and English.

• A strategic, entrepreneurial mindset with a passion for improving patient care.
