Thailand National Contact Person (NCP) – Pharmacovigilance
Location: Thailand (Remote)
Contract Type: Independent Contractor
Commitment: 8–10 hours per month
Duration: Initial 12-month contract (with potential extension)
About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Pharmacovigilance professional to act as the Thailand National Contact Person (NCP). The successful candidate will serve as the local pharmacovigilance representative, ensuring compliance with Thai pharmacovigilance regulations and acting as the primary local contact for the health authority and other PV-related stakeholders.
This is an ideal opportunity for an experienced PV professional looking for a flexible, part-time consultancy.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the designated Thailand National Contact Person for pharmacovigilance activities.
- Act as the primary local contact for the Thai regulatory authority regarding pharmacovigilance matters.
- Support compliance with local pharmacovigilance legislation and regulatory requirements.
- Facilitate communication between global pharmacovigilance teams and local stakeholders.
- Ensure local implementation of pharmacovigilance processes and procedures.
- Support inspection and audit readiness where required.
- Assist with local safety reporting obligations and escalation of safety issues.
- Maintain awareness of changes to Thai pharmacovigilance regulations.
- Participate in periodic compliance activities and meetings as required.
- Provide regulatory guidance relating to local PV obligations.
Required Experience
- Degree in Pharmacy, Medicine, Life Sciences or a related scientific discipline.
- Previous experience in Pharmacovigilance.
- Experience acting as a National Contact Person, Local Safety Officer, Local QPPV, or equivalent highly desirable.
- Strong understanding of Thai pharmacovigilance regulations.
- Experience working within a global pharmaceutical or biotechnology company, CRO, or PV service provider.
- Excellent communication skills in both Thai and English.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Preferred Experience
- Previous interaction with the Thai Food and Drug Administration (Thai FDA).
- Experience supporting pharmacovigilance inspections or audits.
- Familiarity with global PV systems and ICH GVP guidelines.
- Experience within an international PV environment.
Time Commitment
- Approximately 8–10 hours per month
