Lead the Engine That Powers Life-Changing Clinical Trials

Patient recruitment is the single biggest bottleneck in clinical research — and this role puts you in the driver's seat to solve it. We're looking for a Patient Recruitment Manager who wants real ownership: your own team, your own budget, and direct influence over how fast trials move from first patient contact to full enrollment.

This isn't a back-office coordination role. You'll be hands-on with patients, hands-on with your team, and hands-on with the data and marketing decisions that drive results — all while working across a portfolio of active studies in a fast-paced, multi-protocol environment.

Why This Role
  • Real leadership, real impact: build, coach, and hold accountable a team of Patient Recruitment Specialists
  • Full-funnel ownership: from advertising strategy and budget to direct patient screening and enrollment
  • Data-driven autonomy: you decide where the ad spend goes based on cost-per-randomization, yield, and screen-fail data — and you own the results
  • Direct access to senior clinical leadership: work alongside medical directors and clinical operations leaders, not layers removed from decision-making
  • Relocation support available for the right candidate
What You'll Own

Recruitment Operations

  • Drive enrollment volume, protocol compliance, and visit readiness across all active trials
  • Personally engage patients via phone, text, and email — from first contact through screening and enrollment
  • Keep CTMS documentation and sponsor/CRO recruitment portals accurate and current

Team Leadership

  • Lead and coach a team of Patient Recruitment Specialists, building a culture of accountability and continuous improvement
  • Set goals, run performance reviews, and deliver ongoing feedback
  • Interview, hire, and train new team members as the team grows

Reporting & Analytics

  • Report recruitment KPIs weekly at recruiter, protocol, and indication level
  • Monitor campaign effectiveness — cost-per-randomization, screen fail rates, yield by source
  • Turn data into action to continuously optimize enrollment performance

Marketing & Campaigns

  • Build and run per-protocol advertising campaigns independently and with outside vendors
  • Own the recruitment advertising budget and allocate spend for maximum ROI
  • Secure IRB approval on all patient-facing materials and keep site/trial web pages current
  • Maintain a social media content calendar to keep patient engagement strong

Compliance

  • Operate in line with GCP, protocol requirements, and applicable regulatory standards
What You Bring
  • Proven people leadership — real experience managing, coaching, and holding a team accountable to KPIs (this is a leadership role, not an individual-contributor recruitment position)
  • Prior experience in a clinical research environment strongly preferred
  • Confidence engaging directly with senior clinical stakeholders, including medical directors and heads of clinical operations
  • Bachelor's degree preferred (health-related field a plus); equivalent experience will be considered
  • Digital/print marketing or social media experience a strong plus
  • Proficiency with CRM platforms (HubSpot, Salesforce) and CTMS systems
  • Strong project management, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Working knowledge of clinical trial processes, disease states, and GCP principles

If you're ready to stop reporting on someone else's recruitment strategy and start owning your own, apply today.
