An established global biopharmaceutical organisation is seeking a talented PK/PD Scientist to join its Clinical Pharmacology and Modelling & Simulation function. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the development of innovative therapies within a science-led, collaborative environment.

As a PK/PD Scientist, you will apply quantitative pharmacology principles to support drug development programmes across multiple therapeutic areas. Working alongside cross-functional teams, you will help drive critical development decisions through pharmacokinetic, pharmacodynamic, and modelling & simulation approaches.

Key responsibilities 
  • Conduct pharmacokinetic (PK), pharmacodynamic (PD), and PK/PD analyses to support clinical development programmes.
  • Develop and implement modelling and simulation strategies to inform dose selection, study design, and programme strategy.
  • Perform population PK and exposure-response analyses using industry-standard tools.
  • Interpret and communicate complex scientific data to multidisciplinary project teams.
  • Collaborate with Clinical Pharmacology, Biostatistics, Translational Medicine, Regulatory Affairs, and Clinical Development colleagues.
  • Contribute to regulatory submissions, technical reports, publications, and scientific presentations.
  • Support the advancement of quantitative clinical pharmacology capabilities across the organisation.
What you'll need
  • PhD, PharmD, MSc, or equivalent qualification in Pharmacology, Pharmacometrics, Pharmaceutical Sciences, Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • Experience in PK/PD modelling and simulation within a pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or CRO environment.
  • Proficiency with relevant software such as NONMEM, Monolix, Phoenix WinNonlin, R, or equivalent platforms.
  • Strong understanding of drug development and clinical pharmacology principles.
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work effectively within a collaborative, matrixed environment.
