Principal Scientist 

We're partnering with an innovative and rapidly growing biotech that is expanding its preclinical research team and seeking an experienced Principal Scientist, Pharmacology to play a key role in advancing its pipeline.

This is a rare opportunity for a scientifically driven leader to take ownership of in vivo pharmacology strategy across multiple discovery and development programs while helping shape and build a growing pharmacology function.

Key Responsibilities
• Lead the design, execution, and interpretation of in vivo pharmacology studies across a diverse portfolio
• Drive translational pharmacology strategies to support candidate selection and development decisions
• Develop and implement PK/PD approaches to maximise program success
• Manage external CRO partnerships and outsourced studies
• Provide scientific leadership, mentorship, and guidance to internal teams
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional stakeholders across discovery and development

We're Looking For
• PhD in Pharmacology, Neuroscience, Biology, or a related life sciences discipline
• Significant experience in in vivo pharmacology within biotech or pharmaceutical drug discovery
• Strong understanding of translational pharmacology and PK/PD principles
• Proven experience managing CROs and external research collaborations
• Demonstrated scientific leadership and mentoring experience
• Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills
