Head of DMPK

Senior scientific leadership position reporting to the CSO, leading DMPK across CRO services and internal drug discovery programs. Manage a multidisciplinary team of 8+ scientists, overseeing in vitro/in vivo PK, ADME, and bioanalytical activities across small molecules, peptides, and antibodies.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide scientific, strategic, and operational leadership for all DMPK activities

• Define and implement DMPK strategy supporting candidate selection, lead optimization, and preclinical development

• Lead and mentor team in PK/ADME study design, execution, analysis, and reporting

• Oversee CRO studies and internal programs ensuring quality, timely delivery, and partner satisfaction

• Serve as senior scientific interface with external partners and cross-functional teams

• Implement best practices, emerging technologies, and drive operational excellence

• Support business development and portfolio decisions with DMPK expertise

Essential Requirements

• PhD in Pharmaceutical Sciences, Pharmacology, Biochemistry, Chemistry, or related discipline

• 6-8+ years industry experience in drug discovery/development with progressive leadership

• Expertise in PK, drug metabolism, ADME for small molecules and biologics

• Knowledge of PK/PD modeling for candidate selection and human exposure predictions

• Proven experience leading multidisciplinary teams in fast-paced environments

• Strong communication and ability to influence scientific decisions

• Experience managing both CRO services and internal R&D programs
