What You’ll Be Doing
Customer & Internal Communication
- Serve as the first point of contact for incoming inquiries from customers and business development.
- Direct inquiries to the appropriate technical experts and provide timely, professional responses using information provided by internal teams.
- Maintain accurate and accessible communication records.
Project Oversight & Workflow Support
- Develop a deep understanding of typical biopharma project workflows to support rapid and technically sound responses.
- Monitor and report on the real‑time status of all active commercial projects.
- Participate in weekly team meetings to ensure alignment and progress tracking.
Pipeline & Reporting
- Collaborate with the sales team to maintain a transparent and up‑to‑date pipeline and work‑in‑progress (WIP) tracker.
- Ensure all internal systems contain accurate, timely project data for reporting and forecasting.
- Develop and maintain real‑time revenue reporting for all biopharma customer projects.
Customer Management & Fulfillment
- Facilitate communication between customers and internal teams throughout project execution.
- Provide written project updates according to customer expectations.
- Help define processes for order intake, project progression, delivery, and information sharing.
Cross‑Functional Collaboration
- Work with Finance to support standardized invoicing processes and milestone payment tracking.
- Partner with Product Management, Scientific teams, and Finance to create a menu of services with detailed cost structures and pricing.
- Identify and report project capacity constraints to help balance workload and customer satisfaction.
Sales & Marketing Support
- Assist in training sales teams and supporting commercial activities.
- Contribute to the development of collateral, messaging, and content to communicate the value of biopharma services.
Additional Responsibilities
- Support various ad hoc projects as needed.
- Ensure adherence to regulatory and ISO 13485 quality standards.
What You’ll Bring to the Team
- 5+ years of relevant experience in life sciences or a related discipline, with at least 2 years in a customer‑facing role.
- Bachelor’s degree in Biology, Chemistry, or a related field; an advanced degree or hands‑on laboratory background is a plus.
- Strong understanding of scientific service offerings and customer workflows.
- Proven ability to work effectively across cross‑functional teams including operations, sales, finance, and scientific groups.
- Demonstrated experience managing projects that meet or exceed customer expectations.
- Excellent leadership, teamwork, and communication skills.
- A proactive, hands‑on, high‑energy approach with a positive, solutions‑oriented mindset.
