Quality Control Specialist

Are you an experienced Quality Control professional looking to make an impact in a cutting-edge biotech environment? We are seeking a skilled and motivated Quality Control Specialist to join a team in Shannon, Ireland, supporting innovative work in gene therapy and pharmaceutical manufacturing.

As a Quality Control Specialist, you will play a key role in ensuring the highest standards of product quality and compliance across our operations. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to support production and drive continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities: 

• Conduct and oversee quality control testing across production processes
• Perform advanced analytical techniques, including HPLC, PCR, and cell culture assays
• Ensure full compliance with GMP and internal quality standards
• Collaborate with R&D and manufacturing teams to support product development and excellence
• Maintain accurate documentation and support regulatory requirements

About you:

• Minimum of 8 years’ experience in Quality Control, ideally within gene therapy or pharmaceutical manufacturing
• Strong hands-on expertise in HPLC, PCR, and cell culture techniques
• In-depth knowledge of GMP and regulatory standards
• Highly detail-oriented with a proactive and quality-driven mindset
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
