Safety Toxicologist

We are seeking a talented and motivated Safety Toxicologist to join a growing non-clinical safety team in Munich. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the development of innovative therapies within a collaborative and science-driven environment.
As a Safety Toxicologist, you will support the design, monitoring, and interpretation of non-clinical toxicology studies across a diverse pipeline of drug candidates. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure that safety assessments are robust, scientifically sound, and aligned with regulatory expectations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and oversee non-clinical toxicology studies (GLP and non-GLP) to support drug development programs
• Interpret toxicological data and contribute to safety risk assessments and mitigation strategies
• Prepare and review regulatory documents (IND, CTA, NDA modules)
• Collaborate with pharmacology, DMPK, clinical, and regulatory teams
• Manage external CROs to ensure high-quality study conduct and timely delivery
• Contribute to the development of safety strategies across multiple projects

What you'll need:  

• PhD, DVM, PharmD, or MSc with significant experience in toxicology or a related discipline
• Experience in non-clinical safety/toxicology within pharma, biotech, or CRO settings
• Strong knowledge of regulatory guidelines (ICH, OECD, GLP)
• Ability to interpret complex datasets and communicate findings effectively
• Strong organizational and project management skills
