Role Overview
This role leads the execution and governance of outsourced commercial service engagements within the life sciences sector. You will take full ownership of project delivery excellence, team performance, and client satisfaction for established accounts—with an emphasis on operational maturity and outcome reliability rather than hunting for new logos.

Core Accountabilities

■ Delivery Oversight

  • End-to-end accountability for project execution and service continuity

  • Tracking performance metrics and financial health of assigned portfolios

  • Ensuring service quality meets defined standards

  • Acting as the primary point of escalation for critical issues

■ Team Leadership & Development

  • Direct management of Project Leads and Regional Field Supervisors

  • Full-cycle talent management: sourcing, onboarding, coaching, and performance reviews

  • Building a robust succession framework for key roles

■ Strategic Client Relationships

  • Cultivating trusted-advisor relationships with senior client stakeholders

  • Diagnosing client needs and co-developing actionable solutions

  • Supporting retention and renewal negotiations

■ Growth Enablement

  • Identifying and supporting opportunities to expand service scope within existing accounts

  • Contributing to proposal development and pitch preparation

  • Partnering with new-business teams to align on client strategy

■ Operational Infrastructure

  • Supporting product launch readiness from a field-force perspective

  • Designing and implementing scalable sales operation frameworks

  • Building processes for new commercial team setups

Candidate Requirements

【Essential】

  • Proven background in pharmaceuticals, biotech, or medical devices

  • Minimum 5 years in roles with direct people management responsibility

  • Hands-on experience in launching or structuring commercial field teams

  • Solid track record in managing complex, multi-stakeholder projects

  • Fluent in Japanese (native level)

  • Professional working proficiency in English
