Senior Strategic Market Access Lead - Oncology

The Opportunity

We are partnered with an innovative oncology company entering a critical phase of European growth. With multiple oncology assets progressing through late-stage development and launch planning, we are seeking an experienced Strategic Market Access Leader to define and execute access strategy across key European markets.

This is a visible leadership role with significant influence across Medical Affairs, Commercial, Pricing, HEOR and Global Market Access functions. The successful candidate will shape value propositions, reimbursement strategies and launch readiness activities for high-priority oncology assets.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead development of European market access strategy for oncology products
• Drive payer and reimbursement planning across major EU markets
• Build integrated evidence generation and value communication plans
• Partner closely with HEOR and Medical Affairs teams on evidence requirements
• Lead pricing strategy development and launch sequencing recommendations
• Act as the market access representative within global brand teams
• Manage and develop a small but growing market access function
• Support interactions with HTA agencies and key payer stakeholders

Requirements

• 10+ years of pharmaceutical market access experience
• Deep expertise within oncology reimbursement and payer strategy
• Proven track record supporting successful European launches
• Strong understanding of HTA processes across major EU markets
• Experience leading cross-functional teams
• Fluent English required; additional European languages advantageous
• Ability to operate strategically in a lean, entrepreneurial environment
