We are partnering with a global organisation in the life sciences technology space to hire a Solutions Consultant to support continued commercial growth and client engagement.

This role acts as a key bridge between technology, sales, and customer needs, playing a critical part in driving business success through high-quality solution demonstrations, technical expertise, and strategic input across the sales cycle.

You will work closely with commercial teams to position a sophisticated clinical software platform, while also representing the voice of the customer internally to help shape product direction and ensure ongoing market relevance.


Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver engaging and tailored demonstrations of software solutions to a wide range of stakeholders, adapting to different levels of technical understanding
  • Partner with Business Development teams to support sales strategy, proposals, and client engagements
  • Build and maintain demo environments, including creating realistic client scenarios and ensuring data accuracy
  • Gather, analyse, and communicate customer feedback to inform product development and internal priorities
  • Identify opportunities and risks throughout the sales cycle, developing strategic approaches to maximise success
  • Translate complex technical concepts into clear, compelling messaging for both technical and non-technical audiences
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with teams across Sales, Product, and other business areas

About the Role

  • This is an individual contributor position with no direct reports, requiring a high level of autonomy and initiative
  • The role involves working across multiple stakeholders and managing competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • You will be expected to contribute beyond core responsibilities where needed, supporting the broader success of the commercial function

About You

  • Experience in a Solutions Consultant, Pre-Sales, or similar client-facing role, ideally within life sciences or SaaS
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage diverse audiences
  • Commercial awareness and the ability to support revenue-generating activities
  • Analytical mindset, with the ability to interpret customer requirements and translate them into solutions
  • Proactive, adaptable, and comfortable working cross-functionally
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
